What is the Hotels&Flights system and what are its functionalities?
Hotels&Flights is a dynamic pricing and booking system with the capability to bundle hotels, flights and transfers, based on a booking cruise only package, tailoring the filter starting from the embarkation and disembarkation port.

On which kind of booking, can I add Hotels, Flights, Transfers?
Cruise Only bookings, with no flights or hotel included. Other “pre-paid” items are not a constraint for dynamic package (beverage, excursion, internet, etc.)

Why do I not see the “Hotels & Flights” button?
If you don’t see the Hotels & Flights button, your booking has already a flight and/or an hotel or you already did the web check-in.

Can I add Hotels and Flights in different moments or do I need to add them all at the same time?
The system is accessible with a confirmed Cruise Only Booking, so it’s important to buy your preferred items at the same time. At the moment it is not possible to have a second access, after the first purchase.

What are the changes that the system will perform on my booking and invoice?
All the purchased items will be imported in your booking and will be included in booking confirmations, invoices and e-tickets.
HOTELS

Can I book any Hotel in the world?
You can book only Hotels provided from the system, based on a selection made by MSC Cruises.

What does “Recommended” (by MSC) mean?
The Hotels&Flights system runs a selection among all the available hotels that have the best quality-price ratio (“value for money”), a star rating greater than 3,5*-4* and the best customers’ ratings, proposing them to you as “Recommended”.

Which Hotel rates do I see in this engine and what do they include?
MSC Exclusive Deals and other special fares. What is included is listed for each rate in the hotel room selection page (board basis and hotel facilities).

Can I change Hotel after I booked?
For any kind of change you have to call MSC Contact Center. Please refer to the cancellation fees for further details.

Which is the cancellation policy for hotels?
If you cancel your booking up to 6 days before the check-in date, the cancellation is free of charge; if you cancel 5 days or less before the check-in date, you will be charged the total price of your booking. This policy applies to any hotel booked through the system.

Are local taxes included in the price?
Any local taxes/fees are not included and will have to be paid directly to the Hotel.
FLIGHTS

Do I have to worry about checking ship’s departure and/or arrival timings to book a correct flight?
All the bookable flights will follow MSC rules (no more than one stop, arrival and departure time based on our ships timings, etc.).

If I do not book an Hotel, can I modify the dates of departure/return of the flights?
Dates of departure/return are linked to Hotels and/or your cruise, so you cannot select different dates.

Can I change Flights after I booked?
For any kind of change you have to call MSC Contact Center. Be aware that any change is considered as a cancellation and that all fares are 100% non-refundable.

Can I request a seat for my flight at time of the booking?
No but you can do online check-in (if the Airline allows it) and select your seat; for any special request (assistance and/or infants and/or special needs), you have to contact MSC Contact Center at the moment of the booking.

If I’m member of an airline loyalty program, will I be able to earn my points if I book through MSC Hotels & Flights?
It is not possible to insert your membership card number in the system. Remember to complete your data with your membership number when you will check-in your flight.
TRANSFERS

Can I add only a transfer in my booking?
No: Transfers can be added only if you book even a Hotel and/or a Flight. You cannot add Transfers for hotels and/or flights booked elsewhere.

Can I change a Transfer after I booked?
For any kind of change you have to call MSC Contact Center. Please refer to the cancellation fees for further details.

Which is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel your booking up to 3 days before the service date, the cancellation is free of charge; if you cancel 2 days or less before the service date, you will be charged the total price of your booking. This policy applies to any transfer booked through the system.For any transfer, in case of cancellation up to 3 days before the service date, no fees will be applied; in case cancellation is made 2 days or less from the service date, the cancellation fees will be 100% of the amount.

Can I request car seats for children?
Please always refer to the important info displayed for your transfer and read all the notes; for any special request you have to call MSC Contact Center.

How will I find my transfer at the airport?
Driver will be waiting with your name; remember that this is a private transfer (there won’t be an official MSC meeting point because you won’t be travelling with other MSC Guests) and for any problem you will have the emergency phone number on your voucher.
