Further afield, Bangsbo Hovedgaard will enchant with its many exhibits detailing the highs and lows of Danish life. Housed in a glorious vanilla-white manor, the site was once a drawcard for Scandinavian writers and artists who flocked here in the 1900s. 
Learn about seafaring in the Middle Ages and Denmark’s German occupation. Bangsbo’s coastal museum also offers a charming café where you can enjoy a meal and a charming giftshop selling souvenirs.
